Thought I'd practice drawing on colored paper. There's something inviting about it. Sometimes you have to fight the dullness of white paper, and then colored paper opens a whole new universe to you.

Did these in a new sketchbook a Fabriano Drawing Journal. I have to say, I've used Fabriano watercolor paper, and it's fantastic, so is this paper.

Sorry about the infrequent updates. I've been trying to get to the end of a rough season. It's busy times right now. I am no longer with Cadence Comic Art. I am for the time being my own art dealer. My studio mates and I are going to put together our own original art sales page. But until that's all finalized, if you want commissions, contact me at evan.kaiser@gmail.com

Other than that, I'm still working on two top secret projects. I'll tell you, I've done more pages in this short portion of the year alone than I've possibly done in the past couple years. I never had the inclination to draw sequentials, they just weren't fun. But now I'm MAKING them fun. I also really feel that I have my own artistic voice now.

Anyway, I'll try to get some more sketches up over the next couple days. But for now, enjoy this Rick, I know this is only number 8, but it's my favorite so far.
